Ariel Chang is in the top 20 as the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team concluded the first two rounds of Central Michigan's A-Ga-Ming Invitational on Sunday.
The event is being contested on the par 72, 6,010-yard A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort in Kewadin, Michigan.
Chang is tied for 20th with a 151 (76-75), just three shots outside the top 10 and five away from the top five. She got off to an up-and-down start with four birdies and six pars in round one for a 4-over 76, but came back strong, ending with 14 pars and a birdie in the afternoon for a 3-over 75.
Sophomore
Taylor Kondel is tied for 53rd with a 161 (79-82) as she tallied 12 pars in round one and nine pars with a birdie in round two.
Senior
Sophia Ubaydi shares 59th with a 163 (82-81), while freshman
Zell Wilson is in 63rd with a 165 (82-83). Ubaydi knocked in five birdies in the second round and had 12 total pars, and Wilson posted 18 pars and a pair of birdies in her collegiate debut.
As a team, the Titans are 11th with a 642 (322-320).
