BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (4/12/2026) -- Two Titans were in the top 15 to help the Titans to a season-low score as the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team finished up its last regular season event on Sunday in Bowling Green's Dolores Black Falcon Invitational.
The Titans claimed fourth in the nine-team field with a season-best 634 (308-326) at the par 72, 5,911-yard Stone Ridge Golf Club. UDM started the event by recording a season-low 308, and ended just 11 shots outside of second place.
Graduate senior
Ariel Chang finished tied for fourth with a 153 (76-77), her 15th career top-10 effort. She knocked in seven pars and four birdies in the final round and was tied for sixth among the competition with four total birdies and 21 pars. She also played the par 3's to an even-par, 3.00 average, tied for first in the tournament.
Junior
Gabriella Tapp was just outside the top 10, shooting a career-low 155 (76-79) for a share of 11th, her fourth career top-20 finish. Her final round saw her register 10 pars and a birdie. She tied for first on the team and sixth in the field with four birdies and was second on the squad with 20 pars, while playing the par 5's to a -1, 4.88 average, fifth on the weekend.
Sophomore
Emma McKinley carded a 162 (75-87) and was tied for 29th, while senior
Taylor Kondel shared 35th with a 164 (81-83).
Detroit Mercy will now get ready for the Horizon League Championship, set for Apr. 25-27 at the Mission Inn Resort's El Campeon Course in Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida.
