DETROIT (4/8/2026) -- It has been a few weeks, but the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team will have one final tune-up before the Horizon League showdown as the Titans head to Bowling Green for the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational.
The two-day, 36-hole event will start on Saturday, Apr. 11, and finish on Sunday at the par 72, 5,911-yard Stone Ridge Golf Club.
The Titans will face the host Falcons, Central Michigan, Dayton, Green Bay, Loyola Chicago, Niagara, NKU, Oakland, and Xavier.
UDM did not compete in the tournament last year, but this will be the 16th career tournament Bowling Green has hosted, with 15 in the spring, and UDM has played in all but three.
The last time they were there in 2024, UDM was 12th with a 635 (314-321), with
Ariel Chang tying for 20th with a 151 (74-77). The Titans took home the trophy in 2013 by posting a 618 (322-296), recorded a fourth-place effort in 2012, totaling a 646 (318-328), and registered a 619 (310-309) in 2022 for fourth.
The Titans have also had one individual winner at Bowling Green as
Olivia Richards '15 earned medalist with a 149 (77-72) scorecard in 2013, while
Alexa Hatz '22 was runner-up in 2022 with a 146 (74-72), falling in a playoff.
The last time Detroit Mercy was in action, it tied for 10th at the NKU The Julie, shooting a 977 (328-332-317). Sophomore
Emma McKinley topped the team, placing 32nd with a 242 (85-76-81).
