BATAVIA, Ohio (3/24/2026) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team had its best round of the tournament as the Titans concluded NKU's The Julie on Tuesday.
Sophomore
Emma McKinley led the red, white and blue, recording a 242 (85-76-81) for a share of 32nd. She had nine pars on the day for an 81, and tied for the team lead with 25 pars overall.
Senior
Taylor Kondel tied for 47th with a 246 (81-84-81), ending the final 18 by knocking in 11 pars for an 81.
Sophomore
Morgan Jones and freshman
Sadie Kondel shared 54th place with a 250.
Jones (88-84-78) - who tied her career 54-hole best - had a great finish, posting 10 pars and two birdies in the final round for a 78. She tied for the team lead with 25 pars, topped the squad with four birdies, and tied for seventh in the field with a +2, 3.17 average on the par 3's.
Kondel (85-88-77) also saved her best round for the final day as she tallied 11 pars and a birdie for a 5-over 77.
UDM will have one more event left in the regular season before the Horizon League Championship, as it plays in Bowling Green's Dolores Black Falcon Invitational from Apr. 11-12.
