BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (2-25-24) -  Sophomore 
Alison Donaugh hit 2-for-3 with an RBI single and run scored as Detroit Mercy fell 10-2 to Eastern Illinois to complete action on Sunday afternoon at the WKU Hilltopper Classic. 
Junior 
Amanda Schick went 1-for-3 with an RBI double while sophomore 
Trinity Fessler also went 1-for-3 with a run scored. 
Sophomores 
Elyssa Adams and 
Jenna Holt each recorded a hit to round out the six total for the Titans (0-5).
Junior 
Jordan Kavanaugh went 3.1 innings with a strikeout.
Recap:
• EIU (9-6) got on the board with a home run in the first inning.
• The Panthers added a pair of runs in the third and fourth innings to move ahead 6-0.
• UDM broke through in the bottom half of the fourth as Schick's double drove in Donaugh.
• After EIU added another run in the sixth, Fessler led off with a triple and was driven home off a single from Donaugh to cut the deficit to 7-2. After a walk from freshman 
Claire Borg, UDM had runners in scoring position but hit into a double play to end the threat.
• EIU added three more insurance runs in the seventh and the Titans were unable to answer in the bottom half.
Detroit Mercy opens play at the MTSU Invitational against Bradley on Friday, Mar. 1 at 10 am ET.
