Zoe Morris claimed first and sophomore
McKenzie McNitt took home a bronze as the University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team wrapped up a pair of events on Saturday.
At Oakland, Morris leaped 1.55-meters for the triumph in the high jump, while McNitt finished third in the 400-meters in 1:01.04.
Senior
Sidny Hessem tossed the discus 33.36m for sixth and freshman
Alaina Burns placed eighth in the steeple chase in a time of 12:23.52
At the Jesse Owns Classic at Ohio State, senior
Kayla Smith set a personal record in the discus at 41.93m for 13th. Senior
Alexa Krauth clocked a career time of 14.89 in the 100-meter hurdles and sophomore
Gracelyn Peebles placed 12th in the 400 in a career-low 1:04.24.
The Titans will have one final meet before the Horizon League Championship as the red, white and blue head to Michigan for the Len Paddock Invitational next Saturday.
