• NKU (20-21, 11-6 HL) posted an RBI double in the first inning to lead 1-0.
• The Norse came back with four more runs in the second inning off an RBI double, RBI bunt single, and a double steal for a 5-0 advantage.
• UDM left seven total runners on base for the game, including two in the fourth, sixth, and seventh inning.
• In the sixth, Klaft hit a single, but Fessler was thrown out at home plate on a relay from left field.
• The Titans tried to break through in the seventh inning as Hallman hit a double, moving Babcock to third base. Fessler hit an RBI single to plate Babcock putting UDM on the board. However, the Titans stranded two runners with a groundout to end the game.
