Titans Clock Some Fast Times At 129th Boston Marathon

DETROIT (4/22/2025) -- The University of Detroit Mercy track cross country and track and field teams had some fine results at the 129th running of the Boston Marathon on Monday.

Ben Kendell '19 tallied the best time ever for a Titan at the event, taking 29th in 2:15:20 run. 

Mead Goedert '06 crossed the finish line at 2:47:15, his best time ever at the Boston Marathon, while Scott Douglas '06 clocked a time of 3:18:28.

On the women's side, Sydnie Fetherolf '17 ran 3:21:39, and Katrina Oberski '13 (Oberski) posted a time of 3:22.20.

This weekend, two more alums will look for fast times as Kayla Hughes '20 and Allison Sherman '23 compete in the Glass City Marathon.
