Natalie Babcock hit 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored as Detroit Mercy rallied from a 4-0 deficit to tie the game before coming up short with a 5-4 setback at Green Bay in #HLSB series finale action on Monday afternoon.

Chloe Spitzer went 2.2 innings in the circle with a strikeout in relief of freshman
Erin Flynn, who finished with four strikeouts with four earned runs.
Recap:
• After a scoreless two innings, Green Bay (15-27, 8-13 HL) posted an RBI single followed by a three-run homer to take a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning.
• Detroit Mercy got back into the game with four runs in the top of the fifth inning. Peterson got aboard with a single, followed by a double from Babcock. Ketola reached on a fielder's choice, scoring Peterson.
• Hallman then hit a RBI single, driving in Babcock, followed by an RBI double from Fessler to plate Ketola. Freshman
Mia Hubbell pinch ran and scored on a wild pitch to tie the game at 4-4.
• The Phoenix moved back ahead in the bottom half of the fifth with an RBI single for a 5-4 lead.
• UDM had a golden opportunity to tie the game in the top of the seventh inning. Hallman led off with a walk, followed by Fessler reaching on an error.
• Sophomore
Jada Davis moved the runners over to second and third on a sac bunt. Schick then loaded the bases on a walk with two outs. However, freshman
Allison Fluker flew out to center field to end the game, leaving the runners stranded.
