Titans Wrap Up Action At Boilermaker Spring Classic

Freshman Morgan Jones and the Titans finished up play at Purdue.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (4/7/2025) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team completed its third action of the spring as Purdue's Boilermaker Spring Classic concluded on Monday.

Due to injuries, the Titans finished with three golfers at the par 72, 6,211-yard Ackerman-Allen Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex.

Junior Taylor Kondel led UDM by tying for 54th with a career-best 231 (78-72-81). She finished the event with nine pars and led the squad with 35 pars in the tournament.

Kondel ended the first day sharing 33rd with a 150 (78-72). After recording 12 pars in her opening-round 78, she knocked in two birdies and 14 pars en route to tying her career-low with an even-par 72.

Freshman Morgan Jones shared 90th with a 251 (83-79-89), while junior Sydnie Redovich placed 92nd with a 254 (87-84-83).

The Titans will have one final event before the Horizon League Championships as the red, white and blue participate in the Jaguar Invitational this weekend, Apr. 12-13.
