Jada Davis drew two walks and recorded Detroit Mercy's lone hit of the day as the Titans fell 9-0 at No. 2 Texas Tech and 18-1 against North Texas on the second day of action at the Jeannine McHaney Memorial Classic on Saturday.

Natalie Babcock each drew a walk against Texas Tech, but the Titans had no answer for Red Raider pitcher Kaitlyn Terry, who tossed her second no-hitter of the season, going 5.0 innings with five strikeouts.
In game two against the Mean Green, Davis got a hit in the first inning, added a walk in the third, and drove in UDM's lone run off a groundout to plate freshman
Addison Pokley, who walked in the fifth inning.
No. 2 Texas Tech Recap:
• The Red Raiders got on the board with a run off a sac fly in the first.
• UDM loaded the bases off a walk and back-to-back hit batters in the second inning. TT capitalized, adding three runs off a two-run double and a groundout to move ahead 4-0.
• Texas Tech posted two more runs on a bases-loaded walk and ground out in the third inning
• The Red Raiders added three more runs off a pair of sac flies and an RBI double to move ahead 9-0 in the fourth inning.
North Texas Recap:
• North Texas got a three-run homer in the first inning, followed by an RBI double and single in the second to lead 6-0.
• UDM got runners on first and second in the top of the third inning on a hit by pitch and a walk, but were left stranded.
• The Mean Green then hung a crooked number seven runs (four unearned) in the bottom half, highlighted by another 3-run homer.
• UNT added fivemore runs (three unearned) in the bottom of the fourth to lead 18-0.
• Pokley walked and then stole second in the fifth inning and scored on Davis' ground out to avoid the shutout.
