WINDSOR, Ontario (2/6/2026) -- A couple of Titans are in the top seven in the heptathlon, and two others were top 10 in their respective events as the University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team started day one of the Windsor Team Challenge on Friday.
Freshman
Weston Glei totaled 2,402 points and is in sixth place in the heptathlon, garnering a win in the high jump with a mark of 1.87 meters, while junior
Joshua Neary is in seventh with 2,384 points.
Sophomore
Kyle Falls recorded a leap of 13.34m in the triple jump for ninth.
Senior
Anthony Yip earned 10th in the weight with a toss of 14.12m, and freshman
Micah Chaney made the finals of the 60 and placed 16th in 6.98.
The second day of the event will commence tomorrow morning.
