Titans Set Top Five School Mark As UDM Finishes Up A-Ga-Ming Invitational

Senior Gabriella Tapp just missed her career low as she tied for the team lead.

KEWADIN, Mich. (9/7/2026) -- A pair of Titans were in the top 50 as the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team concluded its Labor Day weekend action with one of its best scores in school history at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational on Sunday.

Detroit Mercy ended 11th overall with a 935 (309-310-316) at the par 72, 6,000-yard A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort in Kewadin, Michigan. The 935 is tied for the fourth best 54-hole score in school history and the best since a 928 at EMU's Shirley Spork's Invite in 2021.

Senior Gabriella Tapp and sophomore Ava Wisinski led the way, tying for 41st with a 231, one shot shy of a career low for Tapp and a new career best by 22 strokes for Wisinski.

Tapp (76-80-75) posted a 3-over 75 in the final round, knocking in a birdie and 14 pars. Overall, she tied for seventh in the field with 38 total pars. Wisinski (75-74-82) - who tied her career low for a round yesterday with a 74 - tallied an 82 to help set her collegiate best. On the weekend, she topped the team with six birdies and had 32 pars.

Junior Morgan Jones tied for 52nd with a career-best 234 (77-80-77), 14 shots better than her previous career low and a 16-stroke improvement over her score on the course last season.

Freshman Kassandra Rombouts shared 67th with a 240 (81-77-82), while sophomore Sadie Kondel took 72nd with a 243 (82-79-82).

The Titans will be back in action in a few weeks when they compete in NKU's Fall Invite.
