2012-13: Did not fence for 2012-13 season.

2011-12: Finished second in overall individual wins on men's sabre with 16 tying Philip Nelson... Was one of three freshmen on men's sabre team... Posted six one-touch decisions over opponents... Placed 60th overall in men's sabre at Midwest Fencing Conference Championships at Notre Dame (March 3-4)... Defeated Stephan Russin of Bowling Green by perfect 5-0 score... Named Men's Newcomer of the Year by the coaching staff. 

Prior to Detroit: No previous fencing experience... Attended West Catholic High School.

Personal: Son of Kelly and Stanley Faski... Born in Grand Rapids... Has two siblings, Joseph and Daniel... Was part of mock trials, golf, cross country and the National Honor Society in high school... Enjoys golf, playing cards and watching TV... Major is robotics/mechatronic systems engineering.
