Career: Finished his campaign at Detroit with five singles wins and one doubles win..

2012-13: Finished the year with a 1-4 record at sixth singles and a 1-2 mark at second doubles…  Earned a hard-fought win against Bentley (3/10) in three sets (2-6, 6-4, 10-9)… He teamed-up with Pablo Nunez for a win at second doubles against Northern Illinois (4/12)... Member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll
 
2011-12: Went 1-4 in singles...Earned his only win against Chicago State in a 6-0, 6-4 match at #6 singles (4/13).

2010-11: Captured first career dual-match win with a three set victory at No. 4 singles, 6-3, 2-6, 6-3, over Dave Regus of Chicago State on Feb. 20... Named to the 2010 UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

Prior to Detroit: Attended Macomb Community College as a freshman…Earned two letters in tennis at Eisenhower… Named to the Macomb County singles first team as a senior, where he was ranked eighth in Macomb County and advanced to the regional semi-finals…Was the inaugural recipient of the USTA/Midwest Rick Van Horn Scholarship in 2009 given to provide assistance to those with a passion to work in the tennis industry.…During the summer, he taught tennis clinics for youth at the local park district.

Personal: Full name is Laurence Brown... Deb and Larry Brown... Has a younger brother, Chris (16)... His hobbies include playing soccer and fishing as well as working at tennis clinics... Played high school tennis with current Titan teammate David Stabley... A business major.
