2014: Started all 14 games in his final collegiate season and was also a team captain… Set career highs in every statistic, including third on the team in points (35), second in assists (21) and fifth in goals (14)… Took 46 shots with 29 on goal for a .630 shots on goal percentage…  Was sixth in the MAAC and 39th in the nation with 1.50 assists per game, 10th in the league at 2.50 points per game and 12th with a .304 shot percentage… Tied for third on the team with nine caused turnovers and shared eighth on the squad with 19 ground balls… Had one man-up goal and was part of a Titan man-up unit that broke North Carolina's 29-year old NCAA record in man-up offense efficiency (.586) as the red, white and blue completely dominated the mark scoring at a .708 clip, converting on 34-of-48 opportunities… Recorded a point in all 14 games and scored a goal in 10 of them… Started the year with two goals and an assist in the win over Mercer… Tied his career high with three helpers at Robert Morris… Scored two goals with two assists and tied his career best with five ground balls in the road triumph at VMI… Tallied three points on two assists and a goal along with two ground balls and two caused turnovers on the road win at Canisius… Had a season-high five points in the come-from-behind win against Marist with three goals and two assists… Posted a goal and an assist with two caused turnovers versus Siena and then had a marker and a helper along with a career-best three caused TO’s at Manhattan… Ended his career by playing in 53 games with 33 starts, tallying 77 points on 44 assists – second in school history – and 33 goals… A member of the UDM Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, the MAAC Academic Honor Roll and the All-MAAC Academic Team. 

2013: Played in 15 games with 10 starts… One of the top offensive players on the team, he was fourth in points (26) and goals (13) and was tied for second in assists (13), all career highs… Got off 45 shots with 29 finding their way on net (.644)… Also had 18 ground balls and three caused turnovers… Did not score in his first three games before coming away with a pair of assists against Quinnipiac… Started a streak of four-straight games with goals notching two at Marist… Posted two goals and two assists in the triumph over VMI… Picked up three ground balls and added a marker at Jacksonville… Totaled two goals and three points in the victory over Manhattan… Set a career high with three assists at Siena… Scored a goal and had a helper at Marquette the following week and that started a streak of five-straight games with a goal to end the year… Had two goals and an assist in the regular-season finale win over Canisius… Picked up a season-high four ground balls and found the back of the net in the MAAC Semifinals upset over top-seeded Marist… Tied his career high with three assists and four points, while adding three GB’s, in the win over Siena in the MAAC Championship… Fired one past the goalie in the first round of the NCAA Championship at #2 Notre Dame… A member of the University of Detroit Mercy’s Athletic Director’s Honor Roll as well as the MAAC Honor Roll and All-Academic Team.

2012: Saw action in all 15 games with seven starts…Finished the year with a career-best 10 points on a career-high eight assists and two goals…His eight helpers were tied for second on the team…Took 11 shots with five on net…Picked up 12 ground balls and caused two turnovers…Handed out two assists in the season opener at No. 19 Delaware…Also recorded two assists at Canisius…Scored a goal at Manhattan and at VMI, while scooping up a career-high five ground balls against the Jaspers…Garnered MAAC All-Academic Team accolades as well as named to the Detroit Athletic Director’s and the MAAC's Academic Honor Roll.

2011: Played in nine games with a pair of starts in his first collegiate season…Ended the year with four goals and two assists for six points…Really caught fire at the end of the year with three goals and two assists in the regular season finale at Marist…Came back to tally a goal and tied a season-high with four ground balls in the MAAC tournament semifinals victory over the Red Foxes…Had his first ground ball against Mercer and originally set his season high with four in the win at Siena…A member of the Detroit AD’s Honor Roll.

Prior To Detroit: Masterson played for the London U-19 for two years while attending St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School...Led his squad in scoring in 2008 with 50 points on 46 assists and four goals and came back to tally a team-high 54 points on 44 helpers and 10 goals in 2009, leading his team to back-to-back U-19 Ontario Division III championships...He also played for the London Junior B box lacrosse league team, finishing third on the squad with 26 assists and five markers in 2009, while leading the team with 56 points on 16 goals and 40 assists in 2010.
