2014: Appeared in all 14 games… Scored two goals on 18 shots and also picked up two ground balls… Found the back of the net at VMI… Scored a goal for the second-straight game as he beat the Bellarmine goalie… Also had a ground ball against the Knights… Corralled a ground ball in the MAAC Championship Semifinals at Marist… A member of the University of Detroit Mercy Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the All-MAAC Academic Team. 

2013: Saw time in 14 of Detroit’s 15 games as a rookie… Totaled three points on two assists and a goal along with three caused turnovers and three ground balls… Attempted just eight shots on the year with six on net… Made his collegiate debut at Ohio State in the season opener putting one shot on goal and coming away with a ground ball and caused turnover… Posted his first point with an assist in the win over Manhattan and had a goal and an assist in the regular-season finale victory over Canisius… Also had a ground ball and caused turnover at Bellarmine.

Prior To Detroit: A four-year letterwinner in lacrosse…. An explosive scorer in his last two prep years earning All-League and All-Region First Team selections in 2011 and 2012…Also named All-State Second Team as a junior and Honorable Mention All-State as a senior… Ended his career with 203 total points on 116 assists and 87 goals…Also picked up 270 ground balls…Tallied 102 ground balls, 44 goals and 55 assists as a junior, while leading his team to a Toledo Area Lacrosse Association (TALA) championship…He then recorded 42 goals, 58 assists and 98 GB’s as a senior…He played club with GP Select helping the squad to a 17-5 record and a Great Lakes Invitational U-19 championship…He was also an All-Academic selection for two years in football…Off the field, he was involved in the Interact/Rotary Club, Campus Ministry and the L.A.S.S.O. (Leaders Are Successfully Seizing Opportunities) Club.

Personal: Son of Kim and Brad Wesley…Has an older sister and a younger brother… Enjoys music, golf and playing Xbox… Chose Detroit because it’s a great school, great program and overall terrific environment… Majoring in Business.
