2014: Claimed a redshirt after not seeing any action… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, the MAAC Academic Honor Roll and the All-MAAC Academic Team.   

2013: Appeared in only eight games on the season due to injury… Had three goals and three assists as a rookie on just eight shots… Two of his three goals were with the man-up and he also corralled three ground balls… Started the year with a pair of assists in the season opener at Ohio State, earning MAAC Rookie of the Week accolades… Picked up two ground balls at Robert Morris… Added his third helper against Quinnipiac… Tallied his first collegiate goal at Bellarmine…Found the back of the net versus Canisius in the season-finale win and against Marist in the MAAC Semifinals upset victory… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll and the MAAC’s Honor Roll.

Prior To Detroit: Played both basketball and lacrosse in high school… Helped his squad to a Halton Junior Tier 2 to a championship in 2010 and an OFSAA quarterfinal’s appearance in 2012…Tabbed the Catholic Cup Team MVP in 2011 and was team MVP his last two seasons…In basketball, he was a two-time team MVP… Received the Corpus Christi’s Elite Community Award of Distinction for the 2011-2012 year… He made a name for himself on the club scene playing with Edge Lacrosse for four years…He also attended the Top 205 and Nike Blue Chip Rising Senior camp in 2011…He has been a winner on all levels winning championships in the Ontario B Field Lacrosse in peewee, bantam and midget.

Personal: Son of Michael and Katharina Callaghan…Has an older brother and sister… Chose Detroit because of its excellent academics, small campus and the opportunity to play Division I lacrosse… Lists his biggest thrill in sports as winning an Ontario B Field Lacrosse title… A Business Administration major.
