The Titans came out on the short end of a 6-1 decision to Toledo in women's tennis on Friday night in a match played at the Franklin Athletic Club.

Freshman Sophie Sjoberg-Sundstrom (Gothenburg, Sweden/Katrinelunds Gymnasiet) got the Titans on the score board with a win at No. 5 singles. She defeated the Rockets' Jessica Azoulay by 6-3, 6-1. Sjoberg-Sundstrom also teamed with Svetlana Flankova (Riga, Latvia/Riga Secondary 21) for an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles.

The Titans, now 1-1 in dual match play, resume action Saturday night against Eastern Michigan.
