Franklin Athletic Club
On the prowl for its third straight win, the Titans men's tennis team returns home for a quick match on Friday as UDM squares off against Wayne State at 7:00 p.m., at the Franklin Athletic Club in Southfield. Admission to the match is free for all fans.
Detroit (3-4) is coming off a sweep of Toledo and Case Western Reserve on Sunday. Against the Rockets, the match was tied at 3 apiece and came down to the final singles match where freshman
Cesar Escobar Serrano rebounded from dropping the first set, 3-6, to win it for the Titans taking the next two, 6-2,6-4. The Titans then pushed past the Spartans, 5-2.
For the weekend, Serrano went 4-0, with a pair of wins at No. 2 doubles and No. 4 singles.
Detroit defeated Wayne State last year, 6-1, and is 11-7 against the Warriors since 1978.

Grant Asher also announced that the Titans have picked up a match with IUPUI on March 6 to be played in East Lansing at 8:00 p.m.
