Kalamazoo, Mich. (9/22/18) – Sophomores Luka Soskic and Alvaro Arce Lopez-Sanchez each went 2-0 in singles on Saturday to lead the University of Detroit Mercy men's tennis team at the WMU Vredevelt Invitational.
 
As a team, the Titans went 7-5 in singles on day two of the tournament. Soskic, Lopez-Sanchez and Adam Zychowicz each went 2-0 in their respective flights.
 
Soskic picked up big wins against Nathan Griffin from Notre Dame and Michael Dickson of Butler from Flight A, while Lopez-Sanchez defeated Alejandro Rodriguez (Chicago) and Zac Faveri (Western Michigan) in Flight F and Zychowicz from Flight I over Nick Marino (Valpo) and Brandon Lew (Illinois State).
 
The Titans wrap up the tournament on Sunday from the west side of the Great Lakes State.
