COLUMBUS, Ohio – The third day of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional Tournament on Saturday brought another doubles victory for the Detroit pairing of David Stabley and Pablo Nunez.
 
Matched-up against Muddappa Appanervand and Willi Peter of Illinois State, the Titan duo scored a 9-7 victory to move to the third round of the main doubles draw. The two then fell 8-1 in their next match in the round of 16 to Ohio State's Chase Buchanan and Peter Kobelt.
 
Jay Joshi and Nick Tolomei also advanced to today's second round via a walkover in yesterday's contest. In today's match, they fell 8-2 to Ille Van Engelen and Devin McCarthy of Ohio State.
 
The conclusion of the ITA Tournament will officially bring the 2011 fall season to a close for the men's tennis team as the squad now gears its focus towards its dual match season due to start in January.
