Final Match Results

MUNCIE, Ind. - Sophomore's Cesar Escobar Serrano (Merliot, El Salvador/Education) and Chris Cheung (Mississauga, ON/Erindale) combined for their third straight doubles victory at Ball State this evening as the men's tennis squad was in action against the Cardinals.

The Titan pairing has been together for five of six dual matches this season and tonight improved their overall record to 3-2 after an 8-5 win. The three wins have come in their last three contests after combining for an 8-1 victory over Dayton and prior to that an 8-3 defeat over Toledo.

Ball State (4-1) would win 7-0 overall as the Cardinals took the other double's match-ups and swept the single's portion of the event.

Detroit (1-5) will hit the road for its next five outings with the next being on Fri. Feb. 18 at IUPUI with a scheduled start time of 6:00 p.m.
