FINAL MATCH RESULTS

PITTSBURGH, Pa.--   A No. 3 singles win and a tight contest at the No. 5 spot were the highlights as Detroit fell to Temple, 6-1 at Duquesne University Saturday afternoon.    

Cesar Escobar Serrano notched a win at No. 3 singles, outlasting Temple's D. Vuchunov, 6-3, 3-6, 10-7.  Pedro Nunez forced a third set in his No. 5 singles bout, shrugging off a 6-7 loss in the opening set to post a 6-2 win in the second set.  The match eventually went to M. Grinknov with an 11-9 win in the third set super-tiebreaker.

The Titans will remain in Pennsylvania and will battle host Duquesne on Sunday, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
