FINAL MATCH RESULTS

PITTSBURGH, Pa.--  Detroit won four of five singles matches contested Sunday in a 6-1 win over host Duquesne in men's tennis action.  The Titans had two thrilling three-set wins at the top of the singles' lineup to help clinch the victory.

Alex Latosinsky won his first set, 6-2, but fell by that same margin in the second set to put the match at all-square.  Latoskinsky posted a 10-8 win in the third and deciding set for the singles point.  Cesar Escobar Serrano dropped a close opening set, 6-7 (5), but came back for 6-3 and 10-4 wins in the next two sets to claim another team point.

Other UDM winners included Pablo Nunez, who led 6-3, 3-3 before his opponent retired at No. 4.  Chris Cheung won with relative ease, 6-1, 6-4 at the No. 5 spot.  UDM also picked-up team points via No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles matches via walkover.

Detroit heads to Milwaukee, Wis. to battle Green Bay in a neutral-site Horizon League match Friday before taking on Marquette in non-conference action Saturday.
