FINAL MATCH RESULTS

PITTSBURGH, Pa.--  Temple earned a 6-1 win in women's tennis action at Duquesne University Saturday night in a non-conference match.  The Owls secured the doubles point by winning three close matches then won five of six singles affairs.

Erin Weldon scored the Detroit team point with her straight-set win at No. 6 singles. Weldon dispatched Cramer, 6-4, 6-3 to improve to give her a team-high-tying six singles wins on the season.

TU won 8-6 at top doubles and 8-5 and 8-4 at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively.  

Detroit remains in Pittsburgh to take on host Duquesne University on Sunday.  Match time is slated for 10:00 a.m.
