FINAL MATCH RESULTS

PITTSBURGH, Pa.-- Host Duquesne logged a 6-1 win over the Detroit women's tennis team Sunday in non-conference action.  Erin Weldon finished off a perfect weekend of singles play with her second straight victory.

Weldon's 6-4, 6-1 triumph at No. 6 singles was the Titans' highlight against a strong Dukes lineup.  DU claimed each of the other singles matches, but had to fend-off the Titans in doubles play.

The UDM pair of Weldon and Cupuano outlasted their opponents at No. 3 doubles, grabbing an 8-7 (10-8) victory.  The Titans lost close matchups at the other two doubles spots, falling 8-6 at No. 1 and 8-5 at the No. 2 position.

Detroit will host a pair of Horizon League matches next weekend, welcoming Green Bay and Milwaukee to Southfield on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
