DAYTON, Ohio -- The Detroit Titans played an afternoon dual-match at Wright State Sunday afternoon in Dayton, Ohio as the Raiders came away with a 5-2 victory.

Alex Latosinsky and David Stabley paired at No. 2 doubles for an 8-3 defeat for the Titans (6-12, 1-3 Horizon League). The Raiders (14-3, 3-0 HL) remained perfect in conference play early into the spring season.

A pair of singles wins is where Detroit earned its points as Pablo Nunez won at the No. 4 spot and Chris Cheung played in the No. 6 position. Nunez won in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5 while Cheung needed a second set tiebreaker for a 6-2, 7-6 (5) win.

For Nunez, he is now second best on the team with an 8-7 singles record in dual-match play. It was his second straight win and third in four Horizon League contests.

The next matches for the Titans will come back in Michigan as both the men and the women will host Valparaiso and UIC in back-to-back doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday night. Keep checking DetroitTitans.com for finalized location and times for both of those events.
