CLEVELAND, Ohio (3/24/13) – The Detroit women's tennis team fell to Cleveland State by a tally of 5-2 at the Paramount Tennis Club on Sunday.
 
Julia Fernandes and Nino Sujashvili teamed up to take first doubles, 8-7 (4), but the Vikings took second and third doubles to clinch the doubles point going into singles play.
 
In singles action, Sujashvili took the first position in three sets, 7-5, 1-6, 6-2, and Irina Slizovskaya took her match at second singles in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0.
 
The Titans fell to 5-5 (0-2 HL) on the year and will continue Horizon League play when they host Wright State on March, 30 at the Franklin Athletic Club.
