LONGWOOD, Fla. (3/6/2016) -- Junior Sarah Thompson claimed a top-10 finish as the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team competed in the Legacy Warm Up at the Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes on Sunday.
 
The event was played on the Par 72, 6,087-yard course.
 
The Titans tallied a 344 for third place in the four-team showdown.
 
Thompson was among the leaders all day and finished seventh with a 79, her eighth career top-10 mark. 
 
Junior Brooke Sharpe tied for 12th carding an 86, while junior Sarah Montone shared 17th with an 89.
 
The red, white and blue will continue to work on its game as the Titans compete in the Seminole State Spring Break Invitational this week, March 8-9, at the Timacuan Golf and Country Club in Lake Mary, Florida.
