CLEVELAND, Ohio (4/9/17) – The University of Detroit Mercy men's tennis team earned a 4-3 win in Horizon League action at Cleveland State on Sunday morning from the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.
The win caps a 2-0 weekend of Horizon League play on the road for the Titans, improving their conference record to 2-1.
The Titans responded after dropping the doubles point with wins in four of six singles matches to pick up the comeback victory.

Patryk Koscielski and
Nathan Ponton swept the top three singles decisions and
Adam Zychowicz added a win at No. 5 to secure the win.
Vasheshnikov won at No. 1, 6-4 and 6-1, with Koscielski taking the second position 6-4 and 7-6 and Ponton earning the win at No. 3 with wins of 6-4 and 7-6. The win is Ponton's sixth straight win at No. 3.

Chance Conley picked up the Titans lone win in doubles, taking the second position with a score of 6-4.
Detroit Mercy returns home next weekend for a pair of Horizon League contests against Wright State and Northern Kentucky on Saturday and Sunday, April 15 and 16.
