SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (2/24/19) – The University of Detroit Mercy women's tennis team picked up its second victory of the weekend with a 7-0 win over Findlay on Sunday night from Franklin Athletic Club.
The Titans swept doubles to take the early edge, before overpowering the Oilers with six singles wins. Detroit Mercy won the top four singles lines in straight sets.
The win is the second straight as the Titans improve to 5-3 on the season.
Detroit Mercy will take a week off before traveling to Arizona over spring break. The Titans take on Arizona Christian on Mar. 4 and Ottawa on Mar. 5.
