PHOENIX, Ariz. (3/4/19) – The University of Detroit Mercy women's tennis team kicked off the spring break trip with a 7-0 win at Arizona Christian University on Monday afternoon.
The Titans took the doubles point and won five of six singles matches in straight sets to earn the sweep from the Phoenix Tennis Center.
Jasmine Apawti,
Chelsea Apawti,
Ksenia Providokhina and
Sara Mitrakovic each went 2-0 in doubles and singles to lead the way for Detroit Mercy.
The Titans improve to 6-3 on the season with the win, while ACU falls to 3-7.
