Wrap-up With Coach Hamilton:
- "I'm really proud of how the team fought through some pretty ugly weather conditions on a very difficult golf course this week. For the practice round on Monday, it was 75 degrees and sunny but on Tuesday, when it came time to tee off round one, the temperature had dropped to 50 with rain and wind."
- "Kendall shot a gutsy 82 in round one and Shana Murphy an 84 in those very tough conditions. For round two, the rain was gone but the temperature had dropped down to 40 degrees at time of tee off. Julia came back in round two with a score of 78 which helped her to an impressive 15th place finish overall. Every player who finished in front of Julia was from a school in Florida. That tells me that even with the limited playing and practicing conditions we have in Michigan this time of year, the team is working hard and is focused on getting better which for me is one of the best parts of coaching this talented group."
