Wisinski Paces Titans In Opening Day Up North

Sophomore Ava Wisinski leads the Titans after two rounds.

KEWADIN, Mich. (9/6/2026) -- Sophomore Ava Wisinski is in the top 20 after two rounds as the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team began play at the A-Ga-Ming Invitational on Sunday.

As a team, UDM recorded a 619 (309-310) at the par 72, 6,000-yard A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort in Kewadin, Michigan.

Wisinski carded a 149 (75-74) as she is just five shots outside the top five. She opened the tournament with a 3-over 75, registering two birdies and 11 pars, and then tied her career low with a 2-over 74 in the afternoon, knocking in four birdies and 10 pars.

Senior Gabriella Tapp is tied for 52nd with a 156 (76-80), posting a birdie and 12 pars for her opening four-over-76, and junior Morgan Jones tallied a 157 (77-80) and shares 55th.

The final round of the event will tee off at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.
