ROCHESTER (5/6/22) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's track and field team got the Horizon League Outdoor Championships started competing in the Javelin, Discus, 1500-Meter, and 10000-Meter. 

Josie Arnold led the Titans finishing third in the 1500-Meter on a time of 4:57.75 in the preliminaries. 

Allison Sherman secured a fifth place finish in the 10000-Meter with a 36:48.98 time. 

Kayla Smith scored eighth in the Discus at 39.04 meters.
