DETROIT (2/8/23) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's track and field team travels to the penultimate meet of the indoor regular-season as they go across the boarder to the Windsor Team Challenge beginning on Friday, Feb. 10 in Windsor, Ontario.
Last Time Out
Dante Bassham is coming off of a Horizon League track and field Runner of the Week award for his performance at the Akron Invitational. Bassham won the 200-Meter Dash at the Akron Invitational on Saturday with a Horizon League Indoor best time of 21.70 seconds. Bassham also scored bronze in the 60-Meter with a 6.84 second time, the third fastest league time of the indoor season and his second fastest of the season.
Bassham becomes the first Titan male to win a weekly honor from the Horizon League during the 2022-23 indoor season.
Windsor Challenge
The challenge begins Friday at 2:30 p.m. with the Men's Weight Throw.
At 5:00 p.m. the running events begin with the women's 60-Meter Hurdle Pentathlon and at 6:00 p.m. the women's 60-Meter prelims will take place.
The Saturday slate begins with the women's Long Jump at 11:30 a.m. and at 12:15 p.m. the men's 60-Meter Hurdles prelims begin.

Following the Windsor Challenge, the red, white, and blue will conclude the indoor regular-season with a visit to the University of Michigan for the Silverston Invitational on Friday, Feb. 17 from Ann Arbor.
