PROSPECT, KY. (3/20/2023) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team had to battle some tough conditions on the course in the cold, but the Titans made it through the first round of the Nevel Meade Invitational on Monday.
Detroit Mercy shot a 331 as a team and is in 11th place at the par 72, 5,953-yard Nevel Meade Golf Club in Prospect, Kentucky.
Sophomore
Ariel Chang is the top Titan tying for 16th with a 5-over 77. Her day consisted of 12 pars and a birdie.
Junior
Sophia Ubaydi is tied for 34th with an 81 as she recorded 10 pars, while freshman
Taylor Kondel shares 61st with an 85 as she tallied seven pars.
