DETROIT (10/3/2025) -- The third leg of the Titans' fall schedule will have them back in the Buckeye State as the University of Detroit Mercy men's golf team is set to compete in Cleveland State's Tom Tontimonia Invitational.
The 54-hole event will begin with two rounds on Monday, Oct. 6, and finish with the final 18 on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the par-71, 6,811-yard Lakewood Country Club in Westlake, Ohio. Both days will have a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.
The field will include the host Vikings as well as Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Findlay, Green Bay, IU Indy, Kent State, NKU, Oakland, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Youngstown State.

David Swab shared first, carding a career-best and tying a school record with a 135 (69-66). UDM tied for third in 2013 at Barrington, but has never placed better than ninth at Barrington.
Through two events, Swab leads the team with a 75.1 average and is now third in school history with a 74.60 mark. Junior
Gowtham Nalluri is second on the squad at 76.8, while freshman
Peyton Lawley is just behind him at 77.00.
