DETROIT (9/26/2025) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's golf team will be back in action next week as the Titans cross the border into Ohio for the Virtues Intercollegiate.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament will begin with two rounds on Monday, Sept. 29, and conclude with the final round on Tuesday at the par-72, 7,243-yard Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.
Detroit Mercy will face hosts Bowling Green and Miami (OH), Ashland, Butler, Canisius, Dayton, DePaul, Evansville, Kent State, Loyola (IL), Marshall, Notre Dame, Western Kentucky, Wright State, and Youngstown State.
This is the first time the Titans will compete in the event.
The red, white and blue opened up the fall campaign by taking 10th at Oakland's Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate, finishing with a 900 (303-297-300).
The Titans were led by junior
David Swab, who claimed 30th with a 223 (76-77-70), while freshman
Peyton Lawley tied for 33rd with a 224 (73-74-77) in his collegiate debut.
UDM will have three more fall events left on the docket after this.
