Boardman, Ohio (9/21/2025) -- Senior Taylor Kondel is just three shots outside the top five and her sister, freshman Sadie Kondel, and sophomore Emma McKinley joined her in the top 20 as the first day of Youngstown State's Roseann Schwartz Invitational concluded for the University of Detroit Mercy women's golf team on Sunday. 

Through 18 holes, the Titans are fifth with a 318 at the par-72 5,992-yard Mill Creek Golf Course (North Course) in Boardman, Ohio.

Taylor is tied for 13th after posting a 78, registering seven pars and three birdies, while Sadie shares 17th with a 79 as she knocked in 10 pars and two birdies.

McKinley is tied for 20th with an opening-round 80, which featured 11 pars, and junior Gabriella Tapp is in 25th with an 81.

The final round of the event is set to tee off at 9:00 a.m., on Monday.
