SPRINGBORO, Ohio (4/12/2026) -- Redshirt sophomore Ethan Oblak carded one of the best rounds in school history and is in the top 10 after the first two rounds of the Wright State Invitational on Sunday.

The Titans started the day with a 290 and ended round two with a 288 for a 578 scorecard, tied for fifth at the par 71, 7,075-yard Heatherwoode Golf Club. UDM is just six shots out of the top three heading into the final round.

Oblak is tied for sixth with a 140 (66-74) as he became just the fourth Titan to record a 66, and the first since teammate David Swab in 2024. He started the tournament with four birdies and four pars in his first eight holes and tallied seven pars and two more birdies in his final nine for his 5-under 66. In the afternoon, he began with six pars and a birdie before paring his final six holes for a 3-over 74.

Graduate senior Bavake Sihota is tied for 17th with a 143 (72-71), while freshman Peyton Lawley shares 35th with a 147 (75-72). Bavake knocked in 11 pars and three birdies for a 1-over 72 and then had 12 pars and three birdies for an even-par 71, his sixth round at par or better in the spring, while Lawley posted his career-best with a 1-over 72 in round two, recording seven pars and five birdies.

Junior Mason Sokolowski got off to a slow start with an 81 on the opening 18, but caught fire in round two with a 1-over 72, which included a run of five-straight birdies at one point. He and Swab are both tied for 58th with a 152. 

The final round of the event is set to tee off at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.
