Ava Wisinski is in the top 10 and sophomore
Sadie Kondel is in the top 20 after the first day of play at the NKU Fall Invitational on Monday.
The opening day was supposed to feature 36 holes, but darkness forced a stop with four holes left in the second round at the par-71, 5,923-yard Belterra Golf Club in Florence, Indiana.
Wisinski is tied for ninth after posting a career-best 2-over 73 in round one and was five over in round two. After starting the day with a double bogey, she parred her next seven and then made three birdies and four pars in her last nine holes. She added three more birdies in her 14 holes in the second round.
Kondel is tied for 17th place after a slow start with a 79 in round one, but she knocked in three birdies and 11 pars in the second round before it was halted.
Senior
Gabriella Tapp is in 23rd place as she tallied a 77 in round one, recording two birdies and nine pars to start the day, while freshman
Kassandra Rombouts shares 27th place with an 80 in round one and was four over with three holes remaining in round two.
The final round of the event will tee off at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow.
