Prior to Detroit:  A two-year starter in goal at Archbishop Curley, he helped lead the Lions to two Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) B championships...As a senior, he was named team MVP after leading the MIAA-B in saves...His 2.7 goals against average and 85-percent save percentage were among the leaders in one of the best high school lacrosse conferences in the country...He also posted back-to-back undefeated seasons in MIAA play...As a junior, he helped lead the Friars to the school's first championship in 21 years.
