2009: Stared all 11 games in the back for Detroit…Named one of UDM’s first team captains prior to the season…Often defended the opposition’s best offensive player…Picked up 16 groundballs on the season…Had a season high three GB’s at Robert Morris, North Carolina and at Air Force… A member of the AD Honor Roll.

Prior to Detroit: Turchetti played for three years on the club lacrosse team at Michigan State...As a Spartan, Turchetti earned three letters and served as team captain his senior season...He was named all-conference and to the Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association (CCLA) First Team Defense, despite missing half his season with a wrist injury...He ended the year with 33 groundballs and 17 takeaways in just eight games...As a junior, he was tabbed Second Team all-conference as well as an Academic All-American...In high school, Turchetti earned three letters in football and a pair in lacrosse...He was team captain of the football and lacrosse team as a senior...Named Second Team all-state in lacrosse as a senior.
