2015: Saw action in 10 games, mostly playing on the man-up… Scored three goals, two on the power play, and picked up a ground ball… All five of his shots were on net… Made his collegiate debut at Michigan… Tallied his first collegiate goal on the extra-man advantage at Bellarmine… Had a man-up goal against Mercer… Recorded a goal and a ground ball at Siena… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

Prior To Detroit: Played football, hockey, volleyball and lacrosse as a prep… His lacrosse coach in high school Shawn Williams plays in the NLL for the Buffalo Bandits and he is from the same school that produced former UDM women's lacrosse standout and Team Canada member Emily Boissonneault... A team captain, he was named Team MVP as a junior... Also awarded the OFSAA True Lacrosse Award in 2013... Played minor lacrosse with Whitby and has been a part of three field provincial A championships and five box provincial A championships... Tallied 39 points on 13 goals and 26 assists in 2013 playing Jr. B lacrosse and came back strong in the summer of 2014 finishing fourth on the team in points (68), third in assists (45) and fourth in goals (23), while adding 17 points on 14 assists and three goals in the playoffs... Also a member of the Brogden Cup as a junior and was the 2012 Jammer Classic MVP.
 
Personal: Son of Denise and Terry Fernandes... Has two sisters... Played prep and junior lacrosse with fellow teammate and 2014 signee Adam Perroni... Chose Detroit because of the coaching staff, academics and to play lacrosse... A Business major.
