2015: Earned a redshirt as he did not see any action on the year...

Prior To Detroit: Hails from up north in Traverse City and is believed to be the first Michigan player north of Grand Rapids to sign with a Division I school… Played four years of varsity lacrosse as well as two on the hardwood… Tallied over 80 goals and 35 assists in his prep career and was the Northern Michigan Lacrosse Conference (NMLC) Offensive Player of the Year as a sophomore and junior as well as a NMLC All Star in 2011, 2012, 2013… Played club with the Traverse City Thunder Squirrels and was the squad's Offensive Player of the year in 2012 and 2013.
 
Personal: Son of Cathy and Brad Spanski… Has two older siblings… His dad played professional rugby for the Detroit Rugby Football Club and his brother, Lee, played Rugby for Michigan State… Chose Detroit because its a chance for him to get a great education, has an excellent business program, and to play Division I lacrosse… A Business major.
