2015: Started all 14 games and was selected First Team All-MAAC… Led Detroit with 40 points and 27 goals and was third on the squad with a career-high 13 assists… Topped the Titans with 79 shots and 55 shots on goals, while ranking second on the team with a .342 shot percentage and a .696 shots on goal percentage… Finished fourth in the MAAC in points per game (2.86) and goals per game (1.93)… Tied for third on the squad with a career-best 30 ground balls… Scored a goal in all 14 games with 11 multi-goal contests and two hat tricks… Recorded three points or more nine times, including a season-high four points on four occasions… Had a goal, assist, two ground balls and a caused turnover in the season opening win over Ohio State… Added two goals and an assist at Michigan… Posted two goals and four ground balls against nationally-ranked Marquette with his second marker breaking the school record for all-time points… Totaled two goals and two assists at Bellarmine… Collected a hat trick with three goals and a helper versus Mercer… Notched two goals and two assists at Quinnipiac and against Manhattan… Tallied two markers and a helper in three-straight games against Monmouth, at Siena and against Canisius… Also had four GB’s versus the Hawks and Golden Griffins… Posted his school record 22nd hat trick with three goals in the MAAC Championship semifinals against Quinnipiac… Ended his career by recording a point in 60-straight games, which was the longest streak among active players as a senior… In his career, he scored a point in 61 of his 62 games - only in his second career game at Ohio State did he not register a point – as well as scoring a goal in 59 of those contests… Ended his career as the Titans' all-time point (179) and goal (147) scorer… Also tops the school record book with 62 games played and 33 man-up goals, and is sixth in school history with 32 assists, fifth with 127 ground balls and tied for eighth with 23 caused turnovers… Tabbed preseason All-MAAC by the coaches and Inside Lacrosse.
2014: Came back from an injury-plagued season in 2013 to earn All-MAAC First Team… Finished the year fifth in Division I and led the MAAC with 3.00 goals per game… Poured in a MAAC-best 42 goals to go along with 49 points – both school records – and his 3.50 points per game was 30th in the nation… Was third on the team with 29 ground balls, second totaling 99 shots and topped the squad with a school record 74 shots on goal and three game winners… His .747 shots on goal percentage led Detroit and he was also fourth in the MAAC and 24th in the country with a .424 shot percentage… Surpassed his own school record with a MAAC-high 14 man-up goals as he was part of a Titan man-up unit that broke North Carolina's 29-year old NCAA record in man-up offense efficiency (.586) as the red, white and blue completely dominated the mark scoring at a .708 clip, converting on 34-of-48 opportunities… Started all 14 games and scored in all 14, finding the back of the net in 13 of those contests… Posted seven hat tricks on the season, including tying his career high with seven points twice and tallying a season-best six goals on three occasions… Started the year with three goals in a win over Mercer… Had five markers at Robert Morris, all in the first half… Put in three more goals with four ground balls and a caused turnover at VMI… Netted two goals on the man up and set a career high with three assists for five points against Marquette… Fired in three goals with a helper in UDM’s 8-6 MAAC-opening road win and was named the MAAC’s Offensive Player of the Week… Led the offense with six goals – two with the extra man advantage - and tied his career high of seven points in a 12-11 victory over Marist as he was once again tabbed the conference’s Offensive Player of the Week… Ended the regular season by tying his season-high with six goals and seven points to earn the league’s Offensive POW… Finished the year by pumping in six goals at Marist in the MAAC Semifinals… Became the first Titan to reach 100 career goals and currently owns the school mark for career goals (120) and is second in career points (139) as he enters his senior campaign… Earned the Dad Butler Award, presented to a student-athletes who show dedication to practice and having the ability to rehabilitate an injury to his or her fullest capabilities... A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
2013: Named to the Tewaaraton Award watch list at the beginning of the season… Voted to Inside Lacrosse’s Coaches' Preseason All-Conference team and the MAAC’s Preseason All-Conference squad… Started the first four games before a shoulder injury ended his season… Tallied 10 goals and 12 points in his limited time on the field… Took 26 shots with 17 on net for a .654 shots on goal percentage… Posted a season-best four goals and five points at Navy… Had two goals and an assist in the season opener at Ohio State… Had back-to-back two-goal performances at Robert Morris and at Quinnipiac… Corralled three ground balls at Navy, RMU and against Quinnipiac… A member of the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
2012: A Preseason All-MAAC selection before the season started, he was voted to the All-MAAC Second Team at the end of the year…Named the team’s Offensive Player of the Year…Started all 15 games and led Detroit with 33 goals – tied for fourth most in the MAAC – while his 37 points was second on the squad…Six of his goals was with the man-up, a team high…His 2.2 goals per game ranked third in the conference and 24th in the country…Also topped the team and was fifth in the MAAC with 92 shots, and was second on UDM, and 57th in the nation, with a .359 shooting percentage…His 68 shots on goals was best on the Titans, while his .630 shots on goal percentage was third…Sixth on Detroit picking up 29 ground balls…Recorded a goal in 14 of the Titans’ 15 games, but did notch at least one point in every contest…Posted six hat tricks on the year, including a season-high four goals in winning efforts against Michigan and Jacksonville…Also had four points with three goals and an assist at Canisius and against Bellarmine…Netted three markers at No. 19 Delaware, at No. 6 North Carolina and at Manhattan…Scooped up a season-best four ground balls at Mercer and against Bellarmine, while forcing a season-high two turnovers at Georgetown…Earned the Dad Butler Award for his determination in recovering from an injury at the Annual Titan Academic and Athletic Honors Luncheon…
2011: An explosive rookie who garnered first team All-MAAC honors as well as the League’s Rookie of the Year…Also tabbed the Titans Offensive Player of the Year…Led the team and was second in the MAAC with 35 goals…Also led the Titans and was tied for fifth in the conference with 41 points…Was 13th in the nation with 2.33 goals per game, while ranking 30th with a .385 shot percentage and 63rd averaging 2.73 points per game…His 35 goals led all freshmen at Division I and was tied for 13th in the country… He was also the fourth highest goal scoring Canadian in Division I and was No. 23 in Inside Lacrosse’s Final Freshman Rankings…Played in 15 games with 14 starts, missing only the MAAC championship game with a knee injury…Found the back of the net in 14 of his 15 games, with his only scoreless contest at Ohio State…Tallied multiple goals 11 times, including in seven straight games at one point, while registering five hat tricks…Led Detroit with nine man-up goals and was fifth on the team scooping up 29 ground balls…Set the Titan record for goals in a game with seven against Mercer… He was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week following his record breaking performance against Mercer and was also named the MAAC Newcomer of the Week on four occasions…His seven points in that game also tied a school record…Had a hat trick in his first collegiate game at No. 17 Delaware, where all three of his goals were with the extra man attack…Also had hat tricks with four goals versus Lehigh and three against Robert Morris and at Marist…Scored a marker at No. 4 Maryland, while also picking up three GB’s…Had two goals and two assists in UDM’s 13-9 win over VMI…Posted two goals with an assist in the 13-7 victory over Manhattan…Fired in two goals and picked up a season-best eight ground balls in a 13-11 road triumph at Siena…Had a goal and an assist in the MAAC 9-8 semifinals victory over Marist.
Prior To Detroit: A four-year letterwinner and two-time MVP in lacrosse, Adams totaled 45 goals and 29 assists as a senior...He was named Denis Morris’ Male Athlete of the Year while leading his school to two Ontario provincial championships...He played club lacrosse for two years with the Niagara Raiders, leading that squad to back-to-back All-Ontario provincial championships.
Personal: Son of Susan and Craig Adams…Has an older sister…Lists his biggest thrill in sports as winning provincial titles in both hockey and lacrosse, and being named Male Athlete of the Year as a senior… A History major.
