The Detroit men's tennis team took five singles matches en route to a decisive 6-1 victory over IUPUI on Saturday on a neutral court in East Lansing.
The Titans evened their record to 5-5 on the season and have now won four of their last five matches, while the Jaguars fell to 1-12.

Russ Kovar (Ft. Gratiot, MI/Port Huron Northern) held off their opponent for a 9-7 decision at No. 3.

Patrick Troy (Beverly Hills, MI/Brother Rice) adding a sweep of his own at No. 3 (6-4, 6-4).

Nick Tolomei (Rochester, MI/Adams) rebounded from getting blanked in the first set to pick up a victory as he raced back to take the next two, 7-5, 10-7, in the fourth slot, while freshman
Cesar Escobar Serrano (Merliot, El Salvador/Educame) earned a 6-3, 6-2 triumph at No. 5. Cheung closed out his perfect day with a 6-0, 2-6, 6-3, score at No. 6.
Detroit will now make up its postponed match earlier in the season against Chicago State its next time out on Tuesday, March 16. Match time is set for 11:00 a.m., at the Franklin Athletic Center in Southfield.
