Chloe Karoub won her second straight singles match but the Detroit Titans (2-6) saw their two-match win streak come to an end as the Duquesne Dukes (10-6) won a 5-2 decision over the Titans Friday night in Southfield.
Karoub won her second straight match in singles posting set scores of 6-4, 6-0 in the No. 2 position for Detroit to tie
Amanda Cornwell for a team-high three wins.
Cornwell also won her third singles contest of the dual-match season taking home the other Titan point at No. 4 singles, with a 6-4, 6-4 win.
Duquesne started the match-up winning both doubles matches to jump out to a 1-0 lead heading into singles play.
The Titans will host Toledo Sunday at 1pm on the UDM Campus at the
Titan Tennis Complex.
